Colts Raise Money for New Goals

Haslingfield Colts FC have now raised enough money to buy the new goals it needs for the new season. Haslingfield Parish Council has given the club £1,000, South Cambridgeshire District Council has also given the club £1,000 from its Community Chest fund and the Haslingfield based United Charities has given the Colts £300. The club would like to thank all three organisations for their generousity. All this combined covers the cost of the new goals.

The club needs new goals because it’s moving to playing 11-a-side from this season from 9-a-side last season. This means it needs bigger goals than the ones it’s been using up until now. But as it’s playing at Under 13’s level, full size goals would be too big. For more details on the Colts, check out our website here.
