Cambridge Police: Please Keep Vigilant

Yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 28th) a burglary to a home in Ermine Way, Arrington occurred at around 3.50pm.  A white male and a black male were seen to run away from the premises across fields.

Earlier at around 3.20pm in Hall Farm Lane, Great Gransden similarly described men were  seen to be acting very suspiciously and when challenge also ran away. Activity of a similar suspicious nature was reported in Wrestlingworth in Bedfordshire. We are connecting these incidents.

Please be vigilant. It’s unclear how they came to be in the villages but clearly had transport! If you see any suspicious characters in your villages please do let us know. Call 999. If you have any information that would help the investigation then call us on new non emergency number 101.

Many thanks

  1. A parcel delivery was stolen from Knapp Rise last week and the contents left in the main road. The type of activity reported above also seems to be happening in Haslingfield.
