Warden Scheme

Warden SchemeHaslingfield Community Warden Scheme provides support to the elderly and infirm in the parish of Haslingfield. Visits are made on a daily basis, Monday to Saturday by the Warden, Pam Davis, Deputy Warden Sharon Pinner or one of a team of volunteers. The Warden is available as a ‘friendly neighbour’ to ensure members, of all ages are well and to help with small tasks and local shopping. You may join the Scheme for long term support or for short term monthly help – particularly useful after operations. A very modest charge is made for the service. The Scheme was set up in 1982 and is managed by a board of Trustees as a registered charity. It is supported by the Parish Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council.   If you or a relative or a neighbour needs this service please contact Pam Davis on 872156, Mike Coles on 871403 or Christine Kipping on 870227
