Haslingfield and Barton Scout Group and Little Owls Pre-school invite you to their Bonfire and Fireworks on Saturday 2nd November at Wellhouse Meadow, Haslingfield. Starts at 6 pm.
A variety of hot food, cakes and drinks will be served throughout the evening. Tickets are on sale in the Village Shop, Country Kitchen and at Little Owls Pre-School. Tickets are £4 and under 5’s are free.
Haslingfield Little Owls will be having a Pamper Evening at Dragonfly in Burwash Manor Barns to raise money for the preschool. The evening is Wednesday 20th November from 7pm – 9.30pm, tickets cost £15 for a mini treatment and refreshments. We are delighted to announce that Haslingfield Little Owls Preschool is now open. The staff, committee and 17 Little Owls would like to thank everyone who helped to get it reopened, it has been a real challenge and could never have happened without the determined support of local residents and businesses.
We are very grateful to Sue Jackson for running the Little Owls Baby and Toddler Group while we waited for the preschool to reopen, this group has now closed.

Haslingfield Little Owls Pre-school is hoping to re-open in Sept 2013 for children age 2-4 years, having been closed for a few months. We are looking for a Manager and Assistant Manager to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for pre-school children (2-4yrs) in the village and surrounding area – 5 mornings a week. We were proud to open our doors today for the first of our Playgroup sessions. Over 25 families attended and had fun meeting a real owl! Those who love arts and crafts made amazing owl pictures with feathers. We had a lovely song time, flying aliens round the world, the wheels on the bus definitely went round and there was even a birthday to sing about!
