Many premises in Haslingfield are included in the Connecting Cambridgeshire programme. This means that, by the end of 2015, there will be improvements to the broadband infrastructure that will enable many homes and businesses to receive superfast broadband speeds (minimum 24Mbps)* while others will be able to receive fibre broadband speeds of between 2Mbps and 24 Mbps

After Chivers had donated another field to expand the recreation ground, the Badcock Trustees had enough money to build a cricket pavilion (on the site of the present one). It soon became obvious that this was a facility that many organisations in the village wanted to use, and a Village Concerts Committee was formed, which eventually raised sufficient funds for a billiard room and kitchen. Country Kitchen Sunday opening hours
From this Sunday, Country Kitchen are going to open from 10:30 until 14:00. This could work quite well because the other shop is open early and closes early as well, so this should cover a few more hours on a Sunday between both shops. Keep an eye out for the xmas display area coming (too?) soon!

Haslingfield Choir & Orchestra have announced details of their next performance on Saturday December 7th.
The concert will feature G.F. Handel’s Messiah.

Bonfire Night in Haslingfield – 2 November
Haslingfield and Barton Scout Group and Little Owls Pre-school invite you to their Bonfire and Fireworks on Saturday 2nd November at Wellhouse Meadow, Haslingfield. Starts at 6 pm.
A variety of hot food, cakes and drinks will be served throughout the evening. Tickets are on sale in the Village Shop, Country Kitchen and at Little Owls Pre-School. Tickets are £4 and under 5’s are free.
