TICKETS NOW ON SALE: 84 Charing Cross Road

This wonderful, warm, moving play follows the true correspondence between an outspoken and wise-cracking New York writer (Helene Hanff), and a rather more staid and proper antiquarian bookseller in London (Frank Doel); this contrasting couple being drawn together through their mutual love of literature. The play spans a twenty-year period – from 1949 post-war Britain to the end of the “swinging sixties”.

Tickets are £8 each / £5 concessions (no concessions Sat.) and are available at Haslingfield Village Shop, at Haslingfield Country Kitchen, and at: jan.date@btinternet.com or on 01223 872007.
