Safari Supper Details

Haslingfield “Safari Supper” takes place on 11th October 2014. It’s a 5 course dinner party, with each course in a different house in the village. You pay for the course you host, plus £10/head (£5/head for main course hosts). All profits will go towards the Tennis Club Floodlights Fund but anyone in the village can join in. Simply get together a group of 8 friends who would like to have the main course together, and send all names and addresses to the e-mail address below or send your name and address if you would like to join in but don’t have a group of eight. Tennis Season Opener

Haslingfield Lawn Tennis Club is holding its Opening Event this Sunday 13th April at 10:30am on the Tennis Courts

There will be tennis and refreshments everyone is welcome – please come along!

The Haslingfield Lawn Tennis Club is a friendly club for tennis players of all ages and abilities.  We have two hard courts located on the recreation ground near the Village Hall. We run coaching sessions in the spring, summer and autumn for which membership is not required. We field teams in the LTA tennis leagues and organise a number of social events throughout the year.

The Tennis Club presented “Tea at The Ritz”

Tea at the RitzOn Sunday 22nd September the Tennis Club presented “Tea at The Ritz” in the Village Hall.  The Village Hall was transformed into the Parlour of The Ritz Hotel, and 76 guests enjoyed a 3-course High Tea of sandwiches, scones with jam and cream followed by a huge selection of delicious home baked cakes. Tennis Club BBQ

Haslingfield Lawn Tennis Club is holding its Annual Barbeque this Sunday 1st September 2013 at Haslingfield Village Hall. 1pm for 1.30pm start. Open to non-members as well as members.
Please come along and support your tennis club on this social occasion.  All food is being supplied by the Country Kitchen co-operative with the fare consisting of kebabs, sausages and burgers for both meat lovers and vegetarians.

Latest Tennis Club News

The Tennis Club’s next tournament is the Mixed Doubles this Sunday 30th June.  If you’d like to take part, please come along to the courts shortly before 10:30am and partnerships will be formed by drawing names from a hat on the day.
Also, Congratulations to Gail Rutherford and Babs Hillas who won the Ladies Doubles Tournament last weekend!
