Many of the outdoor play facilities at Haslingfield Primary School are in disrepair, this is of particular concern given the emphasis on outdoor activity in the new Physical Education curriculum. As Government funding for Cambridgeshire schools is notoriously low the PTFA is working with Ms. Peck (Leading Senior Teacher and PE Coordinator) to raise money for a new outdoor play facility called a Play Trail. The Haslingfield Primary School Christmas Fayre is on Friday 5th December
from 3.30pm – 5.30pm at Haslingfield Primary School.
There’s a lot going on: Stalls, games,crafts, live music from the school brass band, a cafe serving hot drinks and delicious cakes and of course a visit from Santa himself!
On behalf of the PTFA at Haslingfield Primary School, I plan to hold a sale of nearly-new CVC uniform in July. This sale is primarily intended for current Year 6 pupils who are preparing to start CVC in September 2014. However, all parents/carers are welcome to attend. (If you are not a current parent/carer of a Haslingfield School pupil, please email me at the beginning of July and I can confirm the date and time of the sale).
To make the sale a success, I need uniform!! So, please could any donations be taken to Haslingfield School Office at your own convenience. Bring a picnic/drinks and celebrate the royal wedding. There will be refreshments on sale and a cake stall. Family games will start at 1.30pm and the royal wedding will be shown. Profits to the PTFA.
We have lots of fun activities for you this year including; face painting, tombola, snowball scavenge, mulled wine, mince pies, cakes, hot food and refreshments available, raffle and carol singing. So please come along and enjoy a mince pie and some lovely carol singing to get you in the mood for the coming Christmas festivities….
