Hi,
This may be something of an odd request concerning the Food Vans in Haslingfield. I am part of 1st Sawston Boys and Girls Brigade who will be visiting Haslingfield Methodist church over the weekend of 15-17th Sept. We have approx. 25 young people and a number of adults sleeping overnight in tents or inside the church building with various activities around the village during the day, joining with the church for the Sunday morning service.
As you can imagine, catering for this number of people is something of a challenge and I was wondering if we could coordinate with the food van on the Saturday (16th) and pre-order a quantity of food for early in the evening. We wouldn’t wish to cause problems for people in Haslingfield, so if you think this is not a good idea we do understand. However if a caterer is aware they meals for 30 people already booked I hope they would see this as a promising evening.
If you have any concerns please get in touch (1stsawstonbrigades@sawstonfreechurch.org.uk) I would be happy to discuss it further.
