\"churchlogo(4)\"<\/a>Haslingfield Christians are offering a Week of Prayer to our village from 5th-11th March 2014.<\/strong>
\nHaslingfield Christians includes All Saints’ Parish Church, the Methodist Church, Roman Catholic House Group and Christians who worship at other churches in the city and in other villages.
\nThere will be 9 places in the village for you to ‘Pause and Ponder’.\u00a0 If you are unable to join the Guided Walk on the 8th March, just walk around the village and pause at each one a moment\u00a0to read and reflect.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We want to pray with you, and for you, as we seek to strengthen our community and support each other.<\/p>\n

Throughout the Week of Prayer<\/b>:<\/p>\n

All Saints\u2019 Church will be open as usual \u2013 inside you will find aids to reflection and prayer; some of our praying will be still and silent, some will be creative and expressive.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/i>As you walk around Haslingfield during our Week of Prayer you will find invitations at familiar spots to pause, ponder and pray.\u00a0 <\/i><\/p>\n

If you have any requests for prayer, please drop a note in to either church.\u00a0 You do not have to include your name and address and the requests may be personal or general.\u00a0 We will pray in response to these requests at the public services, to which everyone is invited.<\/p>\n

During the Week we have six programmed events<\/b><\/p>\n

  1. Ash Wednesday service <\/b>\u2013 5th<\/sup> March at 4:30-5:30pm, All Saints\u2019 Church.<\/li>\n
  2. Thursday 6th<\/sup> March \u00a0<\/b>\u2013 6:30-7:30pm home prayer meeting <\/b>at 10 The Meadows.<\/li>\n
  3. Women\u2019s World Day of Prayer celebration <\/b>\u2013 Friday 7th<\/sup> March, 6:30-7.30pm, in the Methodist Church.<\/li>\n
  4. Saturday 8th<\/sup> March as the village prayer guided walk <\/b>takes us on a journey around Haslingfield of about two miles. <\/i>We gather at the Methodist Church at 9:55am.\u00a0 You can join or leave the walk at any of the 9 stops\u00a0 – see below for details<\/li>\n
  5. Sunday 9th<\/sup> March 6:30pm, Methodist Church \u00a0<\/b>\u2013 \u201cSongs of Prayer\u201d service.<\/b><\/li>\n
  6. \u00a0Tuesday 11th<\/sup> March 6:30-7:30pm, Methodist Church \u00a0<\/b>\u2013 \u201cTaiz\u00e9 worship\u201d<\/b>, music and meditation, organised by Haslingfield Roman Catholic House Group.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
