It has a lively, mainly acoustic sound, meets regularly for\u00a0practice, and is available for gigs large and small.<\/p>\n<p>Its members are the vulnerably housed, people living in homeless hostels, and other members of the street community in Cambridge. The group provides an opportunity for people of any level of experience to bring their musical talents or just have a go, creating a lively musical mix that comes straight from the heart.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThese are songs that have been written and performed by survivors and will hopefully be an inspiration to anyone who hears them.\u201d <\/em><strong><em>Nick Dominguez:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Organiser Kay Barrett<\/strong> says: \u00a0\u00a0<em>When you listen to Street Voices, the depth of human\u00a0experience in the group really shines through.\u00a0Music is a beautiful way to communicate \u2013 it cuts across\u00a0the barriers of suspicion and hostility to the common\u00a0human condition we all share.
