font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>8\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Additional Matters for discussion<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">The enforcement officer has been asked to check that building work at 15 New Road is according to the plans \u2013 no report yet.\u00a0 Builders at The Manor have been asked not to deposit materials and rubbish, or park on the Village Green.\u00a0 Following the resignation of Pat Fullick as a Trustee of the United Charities John Offord was proposed by Wendy Timbs this was approved with one abstention. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">The Annual Parish Meeting will be held in the Village Hall on Monday May 23<sup>rd<\/sup> at 7.30pm<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>9\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 County Councillors Report<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Both SCDC and the County have accepted the Governments offer of a grant equivalent to a 2.5% increase in Council Tax to all councils who kept their CT at a 0% increase.\u00a0 CCC have decided not to increase CT.\u00a0 The impact of this is that the cuts made by the county are between \u00a350m and \u00a380m greater than they need be.\u00a0 CCC have introduced a new interactive on-line reporting system for highway problems.\u00a0 Faults are reported using a web-based mapping system, it\u2019s progress can then be checked.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk\/transport\/highwaysfault\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; color: #0000ff; font-size: small;\">www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk\/transport\/highwaysfault<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0\u00a0 The Government in a bid to resolve public sector housing issues has agreed the imposition of a payment of \u00a3205.6m to be made on 1<sup>st<\/sup> April 2012.\u00a0 SCDC will take on a huge debt to be paid off by tenants rents over 25 or 30 years.\u00a0 Speedwatch volunteers are needed \u2013 please contact 0345 456 4564.\u00a0 An additional collection round of blue bins is to be introduced as the bulk of the material being collected is greater than anticipated.\u00a0 The additional income from recycled items will pay for the extra cost.\u00a0 A motion put to CCC recently proposing sharing of posts with other authorities was defeated by the administration; at the same meeting a motion was carried which asked for the Council to progress a policy which would prevent the erection of wind turbines within 2km of a house.\u00a0 There is evidence of foxes being poisoned locally.\u00a0 This is an illegal act as well as a very inhumane one.\u00a0 Any information should be reported to the police.\u00a0 There will be no major reduction in funding for schools this coming year.\u00a0 Schools are funded according to how many pupils they have-the reduction per pupil will be limited to 1.5%.\u00a0 The money for minor capital works will be reduced by about 80% on last year\u2019s figure.\u00a0 A new \u2018Pupil Premium\u2019 for the poorest children will be implemented from April 2011.\u00a0 Every school will receive \u00a3430 for each pupil registered for free school meals.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\">10<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>District Councillors Report<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">A revised plan for landscaping at Wisbey\u2019s yard is expected. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">The Number 75 bus is under threat in the present round of cuts.\u00a0 A village survey to be conducted in May to assess the needs of a village bus service.\u00a0 The list of people awaiting houses in Haslingfield already exceeds the number being built.\u00a0 More land is needed to build affordable housing &#8211; A spec has been drawn up to replace the paved area adjacent to the recreation area.\u00a0 It was agreed a fence similar to the one around the play area would be most suitable to protect the windows from footballs.\u00a0 It was agreed to purchase a notice board to be erected on the car park side of the pavilion.\u00a0 The paving slabs near the entrance to be re-laid.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>C \u2013 Allotments<\/strong> \u2013 no meeting<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\">12<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Correspondence<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Removal of Glass Recycling Bin will take place at the end of April.\u00a0 A textile recycling bin will replace it.\u00a0 It was decided not to register the Parish Council\u2019s interest in the CCC Highway Wardens Scheme.\u00a0 A sum of \u00a3370 from SCDC Housing Services is to be lodged with the Parish Council for part payment of the work at Wisbey\u2019s Yard which is not yet complete.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>13\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Governors for Trumpington Meadows School <\/strong>c\/f pending enquiries<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;
