Liz Heazell and County Councillor Sebastian Kindersley were in attendance<\/p>\n<p>There was one member of the public present<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>1<\/strong> <strong>Apologies for absence<\/strong> \u2013 none<\/p>\n<p><strong>2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Members Declaration of Interest <\/strong>\u2013 OM declared an interest in agenda item 11 \u2013 price increase for newsletter in C &amp; V<\/p>\n<p><strong>3<\/strong> <strong>Open Forum \u2013 no items for discussion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Minutes<\/strong> of meeting held on March 8<sup>th<\/sup> were agreed and signed with 3 amendments of \u2018Norris\u2019 being changed to \u2018Morris on page 1<\/p>\n<p><strong>5\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Matters to be reported from these minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SCDC have offered the land behind no 43 High St to the owner of no 43 and requested him to contribute \u00a3250 towards tree planting in the new development site<\/p>\n<p><strong>6\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Planning <\/strong>\u2013 applications and decisions<\/p>\n<p>SCDC approval for \u2013 extension to 64 New Road<\/p>\n<p>Erection of 15 dwellings following demolition of existing house and outbuildings, 30 New Rd<\/p>\n<p>Erection of summerhouse, 22 Fountain Lane<\/p>\n<p>SCDC refusal for pumping station at Trumpington Meadows<\/p>\n<p>Appeal withdrawn by Mr T Austin for dwelling at Lesanna Farm<\/p>\n<p><strong>7 <\/strong><strong>Additional Matters for discussion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Margaret Long has been selected to attend Buckingham\u00a0Palace Garden Party. The chairman read out the list of duties which will need allocating at the May meeting, including the appointment of a new chairman and vice-chairman.\u00a0 Mrs Simpkins had reported a number of vehicles driving down River Lane at night. A broken bough on Footpath no 3 was reported. It would appear that a garage conversion has taken place at no3 Cantelupe Road, this to be reported to SCDC.\u00a0 Another car was broken into on 12.4.10 and a handbag stolen<\/p>\n<p><strong>8 <\/strong><strong>County Councillors Report \u2013 <\/strong>no further information on the old railway bridge between Haslingfield and Barton.\u00a0 There will shortly be a meeting to discuss the number of places available at Haslingfield School.\u00a0 168 thousand toads have recently been ferried by bucket across the guided busway cement wheel guides where they are becoming trapped.\u00a0 It has been decided to fill these spaces with minced tyres which may be a potential fire hazard!\u00a0 This is being investigated.\u00a0 There are six major defects which need to be addressed one of which is that the entire Park &amp; Ride site at St Ives which floods.\u00a0 The news that Marshalls will not be moving from Cambridge Airport where 12,000 homes were to be built means that these homes have to be built elsewhere. Possibilities could be an expansion of Cambourne, Hanley Grange or additional houses at Northstowe<\/p>\n<p><strong>9 <\/strong><strong>District Councillors Report \u2013<\/strong> SCDC are planning to replace the \u2018Best Kept Village Award\u2019 with a \u2018Local Heroes Award\u2019, nominations to come from Parish Councils.\u00a0 Following the resignation of the CEO at SCAMBS it has been suggested that there should be job sharing with another authority.\u00a0 The Parish Council did not support this suggestion.\u00a0 A meeting will take place shortly between LH,\u00a0 SK and the proprietor of Whippet Buses to try and sort out the problems with the buses.\u00a0 House owners who will have difficulty in accommodating 3 wheelie bins are asked to contact Liz Heazell. The commencement date for Northstowe is not yet known, more money is available now that it is to be an\u2019Ecotown\u2019.\u00a0 Trumpington Meadows is one of 4 growth areas and development could be extended there<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>10\u00a0 \u00a0Committee Reports<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A \u2013 <strong>Environment <\/strong>&#8211; \u00a0ivy on Wellhouse Meadow wall should be removed shortly.\u00a0 The barbed wire in Wellhouse Meadow has now been removed, thanks were expressed to Pat Fullick, Michael Hendy and Martin Heazell.\u00a0 It was felt that a replacement fence and\u2019 Deep Water\u2019 signs should be erected, MH to look into this.\u00a0 The fence on the Wellhouse Meadow side of the Manor Drive is falling down, this to be discussed with the owner of the Manor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>B \u2013 Pavilion<\/strong> &#8211; the broken door to the boiler room has now been repaired.<\/p>\n<p><strong>11 <\/strong><strong>Correspondence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Andrew Lansley re potholes \u2013 no action.<\/p>\n<p>Karen Champion(CCC) acknowledged report of recent problems on footpath 3<\/p>\n<p>CPRE have produced litter picking packs \u2013 no action<\/p>\n<p>Price increase for Newsletter in C &amp;
