This means the pub is now a proper, true Freehouse so it can sell whatever real ale, lagers, wines and spirits it wants to. Neil and Sue Poole took over the running of the pub under Wrenbridge. They&#8217;ve lived in Haslingfield for forty years and are well known in the village. A Little Rose Support Group has been set up by Keith Murray (keith@murraysouthwell.plus.com) which registered the pub as an Asset of Community Value, which gives it a small amount of protection. The pub is now open 7 days a week and sells food. It also warmly welcomes families and children, it has a special menu for children with all the meals costing just \u00a33-00, a special selection of children&#8217;s drinks and a\u00a0children&#8217;s play area in its garden. The pub\u00a0also sells teas and coffees. The pub&#8217;s long term future is still uncertain and the support group is doing all it can to make sure the village&#8217;s last remaining pub remains open and a key part of village life.
