The next charity coffee morning at Haslingfield Methodist Church takes place this Tuesday 8th March. It happens on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 8.45am until 11.30am. It raises money for a different charity each month. Also, you can offer to organise and support a cause of your choice!

Little Saints – our group for children from 3 years of age and KS1, meeting in the vestry every Sunday morning during the service (apart from the the Family Service on the first Sunday of the month) – lots of fun, songs, stories and crafts;
Super Saints – a new group for children in KS2, meeting in Haslingfield Vicarage at the same times for more fun, bible study and games.

As we make our way toward Christmas, join us on Monday mornings at Haslingfield Vicarage between 10.30am-12pm, starting Mon 30th November when we will pause amidst the busyness of the season and create something special for Christmas.
From 10.30-11.30 am, Gather & Create – Advent Calendars, Christmas baking & Gifts.

This event gets better every year with 19 different charities taking part. There will be lots of different things to buy – Christmas cards, Christmas puddings, books, homemade food etc. You can also help to make a quilt that will be sent to a sick baby in Addenbrookes Hospital AND you might win a big one in the raffle! As well as all the stalls, there will be a café serving delicious homemade food and light lunches.
Children, don’t forget to take your Christmas letters along to the Fair . You can post them in a special postbox, and Action for Children will send them to Father Christmas. He has promised to send you a reply!” Read more
You are invited to join us at Haslingfield Methodist Church at 6.30pm on Sunday 1st November 2015 for our ‘Faith To Live By’ evening led by Revd Dr Michael Wilson. There cannot be many families able to tell a story like this – Methodist missionary in China during the Japanese war and the Revolution- expulsion from mainland China etc.
The format will include a short time of worship, an address by Mike and discussion with refreshments. Why not join us to hear this unique story.
All of the Victorian Pews in Haslingfield Church are now for Sale. We have been advised by Auctioneers that the estimate the value of the pews is between £50 and £100. Sealed Bids are invited, which will be opened on 17th October 2015 for Haslingfield Village and Surrounding Area, following which bidding will be opened up to all. At each stage the Highest Bids for a particular pew will be considered first and then the remaining pews will be offered to Bidders to choose from in the order of the size of their bid.
