‘PASSING ON THE BATON – REACHING THE NEXT GENERATION’.

In a relay race if one runner decides not to bother then the race is over for that team of runners. In a similar way, we as Christians have a responsibility to ‘pass on the baton’ and tell the next generation about God’s love for them.  Read more

Annual Haslingfield Strawberry Fayre

(Indoors if wet).
Enjoy BBQ, homemade buffet and local strawberries and cream, stalls, cake stall, games, raffle.

Profits to charities: Cambridge Street Pastors, Little Owls Preschool & Methodist Church.
Entry: Voluntary donation of an item of non-perishable food for the Cambridgeshire Food Bank.

Faith To Live By

The next guest speaker in our Faith To Live By series of services at Haslingfield Methodist Church will be led by Revd Robert Dolman on Sunday 8th June 2014.  His address is entitled: ‘Primitive Physic and its Implications for Christian Lifestyle Today’.   The evening will involved a short service, and address, refreshments and an informal discussion.  Everyone welcome. A Holiday Club for Primary Aged Children will be held at the Methodist Church from May 26th to 30th (mornings only) and led by John Hardwick an experienced leader, and entitled: ‘Cops and Robbers’ based on the story of Joseph.  Anyone who is willing to help for all or part of the week, Please contact Elsie or Phyllis Salmon at the Methodist Church.

Easter Sunday Breakfast

breakfastAfter the 6.30am Sunrise Service on Barrington Hill on Easter Sunday (20th April) an Easter Breakfast will be served from 7.30-9.30am  at the Methodist Church.  Proceeds to charity.  Why not start your Easter Day with a cooked breakfast even if Barrington Hill is toooo early?

Haslingfield – Week of Prayer

churchlogo(4)Haslingfield Christians are offering a Week of Prayer to our village from 5th-11th March 2014.
Haslingfield Christians includes All Saints’ Parish Church, the Methodist Church, Roman Catholic House Group and Christians who worship at other churches in the city and in other villages.
There will be 9 places in the village for you to ‘Pause and Ponder’.  If you are unable to join the Guided Walk on the 8th March, just walk around the village and pause at each one a moment to read and reflect.
