Poetry Evening with Haslingfield Little Theatre

Haslingfield Little Theatre are planning an informal evening of Poetry Reading on Friday 28 April at 7.30 pm in Haslingfield Village Hall. Tables will be laid in café style, nibbles will be provided and please bring your own drinks. There will be a small charge of £1 at the door to cover the cost of hiring the Hall. Everyone is invited to join us to listen to readings of a varied section of poetry.

THIS THURSDAY – Little Theatre Read-Through!

This Thursday 2 February, at 7.30 pm in Haslingfield Village Hall, we will be holding a read-through for our next production – two hilarious one-act comedies: Black Comedy by Peter Shaffer, and Bride before a Fall by Robert Scott.

Be part of Haslingfield Little Theatre’s New Production!

Haslingfield Little Theatre’s next production will be two hilarious one-act comedies: Black Comedy by Peter Shaffer, and Bride before a Fall by Robert Scott. We will be holding a read-through of the script on 2nd February, followed by auditions on 9th February – at Haslingfield Village Hall at 7.30 pm. Performances will take place on 18th, 19th and 20th May (tickets available in March).

Curry Night: Friday 13th January, Haslingfield Village Hall, 7.30pm

Join us for a fabulous evening of delicious hearty food and live music. Inder’s Kitchen will provide a sumptuous Indian buffet of curry dishes and dips and our very own Tiffany Britton & John Lovegrove will be performing an eclectic set of favourite tunes. Haslingfield Primary School Christmas Fayre

holiday-posterThe Haslingfield Primary School Christmas Fayre is being held on Saturday 17th December from 11.30am – 2pm, entrance is free and everyone is welcome! Come and have a go on our fun stalls including games of skill devised by Coding Club, a Christmas present hunt, toy stall, sweet tombola and many many others. Bring your little ones along to Santa’s Grotto and join in with carol singing. Read more

A Night at the Opera: Saturday 3 December, 8.30pm

Little Owls Preschool LogoPlease join us for ‘A Night at the Opera’ at All Saints’ Church, Haslingfield in support of Little Owls Preschool. Jessica Lawrence-Hares (mezzo-soprano), Robert Haylett (baritone) and Olga Elbourn (piano) will present an evening of favourite opera classics. Tickets are £15 and include a glass of mulled wine on arrival, puddings, cheese and biscuits. Read more

THIS SATURDAY 19 NOVEMBER: Charity Fair – 11.00 am to 2.30 pm – Haslingfield Methodist Church

charity-fair-poster-2016Don’t miss the Charity Fair – this Saturday 19 November at Haslingfield Methodist Church. 15 National and Local charities will be having stalls where you can buy your Christmas cards, books, Christmas Puddings, preserves, gifts, plants etc. 3 of these charities are new to our fair. During the day, delicious homemade food will be available, including light lunches. Something for everyone!

Haslingfield Little Theatre Youth Fund

HLT logo 2Did you know that Haslingfield Little Theatre has a Youth Fund? The purpose of the Fund is to promote the involvement of young people from 8 to 18 years old in the performing arts. The fund is open for children from Haslingfield, Harlton and those connected via Haslingfield Young Little Theatre. At present the sum available is £200. The amount awarded is at the discretion of the Haslingfield Little Theatre (HLT) Committee. For more details, please click here

Use your skills to join Little Theatre Make-up Team!

Haslingfield Little Theatre are looking for someone to complete their make-up team for their forthcoming production of Peter Pan on 24, 25 and 26 November at Haslingfield Village Hall.
